About Evidox Corporation
Evidox is a provider of ediscovery services including collection, preservation, processing, hosting, and production. Evidox and its principals have conducted several thousand ediscovery projects on hundreds of cases involving many terabytes of data and many millions of documents.
Evidox is a partner of Ipro Tech, LLC in providing secure online hosting of documents for ediscovery review. The hosting platform is Eclipse, an IPRO product.
Evidox differs from other vendors in its legal-centric approach. Its primary philosophy is that ediscovery is not just a technical issue; it is a legal issue with a technical solution. As such, questions of scope and cost should be in the hands of the supervising attorneys, not just the technicians. The technology serves the legal process rather than driving it.
The CEO of Evidox, James Berriman, has been in the field of litigation technology since 1982. He was formerly the Director of Litigation Technology at an AmLaw 100 firm in Boston. He is a former litigator with a background in litigation technology systems. Prior to law school, he developed a discovery database system on behalf of a Fortune 100 corporation in support of a nationwide series of lawsuit involving product liability issues. After law school, he began his practice as a litigation attorney and began to apply technology to his own practice. Eventually, his firm asked him to take over the litigation technology function for the entire firm. In 1999, he founded the firm’s Litigation Technology Group and grew it to become the largest in-house litigation support operation in New England. He coded and implemented the firm's litigation case-management system and established the firm's scanning and digitizing labs, its ediscovery review facilities, and its trial technology systems. He also provided electronic evidence presentations in over two dozen trials. In 2011, he was appointed Lecturer in Law at Boston University School of Law to teach its first course in ediscovery.
The CSO of Evidox, Dana Conneally, has been managing complex litigation discovery projects since 2000.  Prior to joining Evidox, Dana was National Manager of Litigation Technology, Goodwin Procter LLP.  His experience includes electronic data preservation, collection, review, and production. At Evidox.  Dana is responsible for identifying developing technologies that can be utilized to mitigate risk, increase productivity, and reduce costs related to the discovery process.  He received his law degree from Suffolk University School of Law and his B.A. from Gordon College.
Mr. Berriman co-founded Evidox in 2006 to offer a legal-centric approach to other firms. Mr. Berriman and Mr. Conneally have built their team specifically to service sophisticated legal clients and now work with many well-known law firms, corporations, institutions, and government agencies.

The Vermont Communication Support Project (VCSP) is a Disability Rights Vermont program that provides accommodations for people with disabilities in order to offer equal access to Vermont's system of justice and state services. VCSP recruits, trains and assigns Communication Support Specialists (CSS) who can assist people with disabilities in court, state administrative hearings and related meetings. The accommodations offered by a CSS supports communication, and strives to overcome barriers to effective communication as a result of disability. They are not advocates and do not offer legal advice. A large percentage of people who qualify for and request VCSP services are represented by legal counsel. For more information:
